When it comes to our transcription process, clarity is essential to us here at LipReader in order to carry out the relevant task asked of us. We want to provide you with the highest quality lipreading service possible.
Firstly, we appraise the footage and decide if the clip is lip readable.
This can take on average one to three hours, depending on the length and clarity of the footage. Following this, we then estimate the time and costs involved.
Transcription follows a three-step process.
1) ANALYSIS & APPRAISAL
Calculate the minutes needed to lipread the footage.
Study the mouth, face, and the persons involved. Check the footage for lighting, shakiness, blurring, smudging, pixelation, and quality.
Create a glossary that incorporates terminology, slang, dialect, and style guidelines.
2) TRANSCRIPTION
